Hi! We are the Vellons and are super excited to be the first Chef it Up franchise in North Carolina operating a Chef It Up 2 Go Travel Team that services the Concord, Charlotte & surrounding areas! Thanks so much for your interest in us! We offer a variety of cooking events for people of all ages! Whether you're 2 1/2 or 102 we have fun and engaging programs that suit your needs. Some crowd favorites include our school enrichment programs, birthday parties, summer camps, and fundraising events for the entire family. As parents of two young boys we understand the value of education, fun, and most importantly safety. All of our programs are 100% peanut and tree nut FREE, and we are allergy aware too! COOKING CLASSES/ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
SCHOOL ENRICHMENT - Chef It Up 2 Go is a hands-on cooking class where we use creativity to make fun delicious menu items. From fresh pasta to cupcake decorating kids will have a blast all while learning and preparing and assembling fun foods and drinks. We will teach kids basic cooking skills and techniques such as chopping, mixing, measuring, muddling, rolling all while keeping it entertaining! We will also be teaching kids food safety, knife safety and allergy awareness. These are all life skills that they are learning and will increase their love for cooking! We take great pride in knowing that our classes are fun, safe, educational, creative and inclusive! All products are always 100% peanut & tree nut free. Please be sure to read our Food Allergy Statement on our website. Chef It Up 2 Go offers continuous 4-10 week sessions throughout the school year which follow the counties schedules. These classes are on location at your child’s school and if no oven is readily available we will prepare all items as make, take and bake at home. WORKSHOPS, WALK-INS & FUNDRAISERS
Our workshops are a huge hit! We have 1 hour; 90min. and 2 hour workshops where kids can really get cooking and prepare some delicious foods and drinks to enjoy in class or even take home and bake up with instructions! Workshops are conducted once a month or seasonally too! Let us know when you want your workshop and we will send you some deliciously cool options! Some ideas for a fun workshop are:

Plus our Walk-In Events and Fundraisers are super popular on location! These work best in large recreation centers, multi-purpose rooms and senior centers, etc… Chef It Up 2 Go will conduct a 2.5 hour event where guests can just stop by the location of event (and for a very inexpensive amount) make whatever we have planned on the menu that we will wrap up for them to bring home and enjoy. It’s a great way for your school or organization to raise money and all they have to do is provide the tables, chairs and location and let us provide the rest! ADULTS / TEAM BUILDING EVENTS
We plan your adult event from start to finish with Chef It Up 2 Go! Great for corporations, themed nights, get togethers and family fun! Let us plan your next event and make it a recipe for success! Just like our kid parties, you provide the tables and chairs and let Chef It Up 2 Go provide the rest! From homemade ravioli/pasta making to beating the clock in a Cupcake Battle or even wowing the crowd with a Rockin’ Cocktail we make sure you and your guests have a great time! Adult events are 2 hours and are very entertaining.

TROOPS, FIELD TRIPS & SUMMER CAMPS
With Chef It Up 2 Go your troop or group will build confidence & character all while having fun creating their own culinary cuisines! Field trips are awesome for your school, troop or organization and here’s what is included!

· Chef It Up Apron
· 1 Chef It Up iron-on patch per person for your troop
· Pick your Menu Option for group to make:
o Menu Option #1 Fresh Farfalle (bowtie) Pasta to bring home and cook up then a Chopped tomato & cucumber salad; decorate 1 cupcake each to enjoy in class.
o Menu Option #2 Zucchini Boats; Garlic Knots (to bring home and bake); Fresh Squeezed Lemonade and choice of Cupcake or S'more Pop to enjoy in class.
