My name is Michelle. Thanks for your interest in Chef It Up 2 Go - San Francisco Bay Area. I am more than delighted and excited to join the Chef It Up family and be able to offer this fantastic program to everyone in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am a mother to boy and girl twins who have inspired me to be an advocate of children's education and enrichment, fun & healthy eating and inspiring each individual to reach their greatest potential. What brings me the most joy and fulfillment is watching a child learn, feel a sense of accomplishment, and eliminate fears that prevent anyone from learning something new. My goal is to teach kids that cooking, at any level, can be fun! In addition, knowing facts about nutrition by reading and understanding labels just takes the journey of learning one step higher. Together, we can help children with or without allergies unite in one fun environment to cook! My Chef It Up 2 Go travel team offers after school programs, cooking parties for , summer camps, and special events in the following counties: San Francisco, parts of Marin, and San Mateo. COOKING CLASSES/ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
SCHOOL ENRICHMENT - Chef It Up 2 Go is a hands-on cooking class where we use creativity to make fun delicious menu items. From fresh pasta to cupcake decorating kids will have a blast all while learning and preparing and assembling fun foods and drinks. We will teach kids basic cooking skills and techniques such as chopping, mixing, measuring, muddling, rolling all while keeping it entertaining! We will also be teaching kids food safety, knife safety and allergy awareness. These are all life skills that they are learning and will increase their love for cooking! We take great pride in knowing that our classes are fun, safe, educational, creative and inclusive! All products are always 100% peanut & tree nut free. Please be sure to read our Food Allergy Statement on our website. Chef It Up 2 Go offers continuous 4-10 week sessions throughout the school year which follow the counties schedules. These classes are on location at your child’s school and if no oven is readily available we will prepare all items as make, take and bake at home. We have 1 hour; 90min. and 2 hour workshops where kids can really get cooking and prepare some delicious foods and drinks to enjoy in class or even take home and bake up with instructions! Workshops are conducted once a month or seasonally too! Let us know when you want your workshop and we will send you some deliciously cool options! Some ideas for a fun workshop are:

Plus our Walk-In Events and Fundraisers are super popular on location! These work best in large recreation centers, multi-purpose rooms and senior centers, etc… Chef It Up 2 Go will conduct a 2.5 hour event where guests can just stop by the location of event (and for a very inexpensive amount) make whatever we have planned on the menu that we will wrap up for them to bring home and enjoy. It’s a great way for your school or organization to raise money and all they have to do is provide the tables, chairs and location and let us provide the rest! We plan your adult event from start to finish with Chef It Up 2 Go! Great for corporations, themed nights, get togethers and family fun! Let us plan your next event and make it a recipe for success! Just like our kid parties, you provide the tables and chairs and let Chef It Up 2 Go provide the rest! From homemade ravioli/pasta making to beating the clock in a Cupcake Battle or even wowing the crowd with a Rockin’ Cocktail we make sure you and your guests have a great time! Adult events are 2 hours and are very entertaining.
